Transforming as a Community: Conscious Connection at the Spring Equinox

Author Katherine May writes in her hybrid memoire Wintering, “Plants and animals don’t fight the winter; they don’t pretend it’s not happening and attempt to carry on living the same lives that they lived in the summer. They prepare. They adapt. They perform extraordinary acts of metamorphosis to get them through. Winter is a time of withdrawing from the world, maximizing scant resources, carrying out acts of brutal efficiency and vanishing from sight; but that’s where the transformation occurs. Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but it’s crucible.”
Spiritual Consultant Kristin Bredimus returns to Alnoba in 2024 to build upon the journey started with her “Healing as a Community” series. In community we began a journey of healing from our collective trauma; learning how to release and alchemize what no longer served us. Together we will share the thoughtful observations of how the last several years have shaped and changed our lives and our world. In community we will co-create a vision for our personal and collective futures. By observing the cycles of nature in the Northern Hemisphere, we will seek inspiration for our own rebirth and collective transformation. Each event will incorporate ancient spiritual ceremonies, meditation, and rituals inspired by the season.
Spring Equinox
All who are weary from winter and the heaviness of our times are invited for an evening of cleansing and renewal; borrowing from Shamanic traditions, Druid magical practices, Pagan ceremony, and Quantum Healing.
As we emerge from the stillness of wintering, we will work with the Egg (a symbol of rebirth and fertility) to cleanse the body and energetic field of any negative energy. We will cocreate our community intention to cleanse any energies that we may consciously or unconsciously be carrying that reflect the weight of our world. Kristin will guide the group in clearing the energies and discerning the global energies that we are clearing.
As a community, we will create both personal intentions for growth and renewal, as well as our shared prayers for the planet. We will seed these intentions through the creation of a communal altar. Kristin will build the foundation through sacred symbolism associated with the sabbat Ostara, inviting attendees to weave in their own medicine through treasured or found objects.
Through ceremonial meditation, Kristin will guide the group on a journey designed to energize the intentions within the quantum field. All thoughts have energy and all energy manifests over time and space. Prayers, intentions, imagination, ritual, and cocreation amplify and expedite the process.

If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled.
