En Plein Air Sketch Session

with Alnoba Docent, Phyllis Stibler

Friday, August 9th from 10am-12pm

Join us for a creative morning at Alnoba, where you’ll have the opportunity to sketch, draw, and paint amidst our stunning outdoor sculpture collection! Immerse yourself in the beauty of our international artists’ sculptures as you explore various mediums such as pencils, pens, colored pencils, or watercolor—whatever inspires you!

To kick off the session, Phyllis will share her collection of sketches of Allan Hauser sculptures, providing inspiration and guidance. Participants will then have the chance to select sculptures to study and capture their essence on paper. At the end of the session, join in a group discussion facilitated by Phyllis, where you can share your experiences, learn from others, and appreciate the diverse interpretations of the artwork.

No matter your skill level, this event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with art, nature, and fellow creatives. Unleash your artistic expression amidst the tranquil beauty of Alnoba’s grounds. Bring your own art supplies. Optional – bring your own light folding chair.
