The Glendale Community Learning Center, part of the Salt Lake City School District, helps students thrive by building on the strengths of young people and their community. Through an expanded community school model, the center provides extended learning opportunities, family engagement programs, and essential wraparound support—including healthcare, mental health services, food, clothing, and technology—so students can attend school consistently and remain focused on learning.
The center also strengthens the wider community through job training, digital literacy workshops, health and wellness programs, and enrichment activities. Its work is made possible through close partnerships with families, volunteers, local businesses, and community organizations, all working together to expand opportunity, build community capacity, and improve overall well-being.
