SUMMARY:Restorative Yoga & Nidra: With Cathy Sullivan
DESCRIPTION:*Located at Alnoba 24 Cottage Rd. Kensington\, NH\n\nTuesday\, March 11th from 9am-11am\n\nAwaken your Inner Harmony: Restorative and Yoga Nidra for Deep Healing for Women: \nJoin Cathy Sullivan for this Women-centered 2-hour experience. \nLiving a life that is rooted in rest is so much more than a good night’s sleep. It’s the vital ingredient for women to live in harmony with their natural rhythms\, seasons and transitions. During this time Cathy will share the benefits of restorative yoga and yoga Nidra then lovingly guide you into a safe\, calming\, and peaceful practice. Redefine what rest means for you and leave with a more gentle and kinder way of living softer and feeling stronger. \nYoga Nidra is a dreamy and luxurious “yogic nap” where you are guided into a “sleep state”\, while experiencing deep relaxation. During this deep rest you will be traveling through the physical body into the more and more subtle\, nonphysical layers. The benefits of yoga nidra are deeply healing to your nervous system\, melting away stress and tension. \nThis in-person event is centered around why rest is the ideal remedy for women who feel tired\, worn out and want more energy\, clarity and focus. When women take the time to regularly rest in all areas of their life\, they will find their way back to freedom\, joy and at home in their body. You will be able to take home these simple tools to practice rest in your life everyday. \nFor this experience\, it is optional for you to bring a journal\, something to write with and an eye-pillow. Wear cozy and comfortable clothes and socks. Cathy will have essential oils to complement this practice along with tea to enjoy before and after. \nAbout Cathy \nCathy is a Holistic Health Coach\, Yoga Teacher and student of Daring to Rest™ with Karen Brody. \nShe helps busy women break free from cycles of unrest and misguided lifestyle choices\, empowering them to reclaim their joy\, freedom\, and vibrant wholeness through presence and awareness. After 25-plus years in education and the loss of her sister to cancer\, she became burnt out and overwhelmed taking care of everyone else\, except herself. Cathy redefined what her life meant to her and took a leap of faith\, embarking on this new way to live and sharing it with women to spread the ripple effect of her new mantra\, “If not now\, when?“ You will find Cathy working on her passion regularly\, teaching yoga classes\, coaching her 1:1 clients and creating retreat experiences for women. She loves to read\, cook and bake\, walk daily in nature and spend time with her family as much as possible. She is a life-long learner and will never stop cheering for women to come back home to their true essence and feel at home in their body. \nEvent Guidelines:\n• Put 24 Cottage Rd. SUMMARY:Holding the Paradox: Spring Equinox
DESCRIPTION:*Located at Alnoba 24 Cottage Rd. Kensington\, NH\n\nThursday\, March 20th from 5pm-8pm\nDoors open at 4pm to explore grounds.\n\nHolding the Paradox: Alchemizing Ourselves and the World from the Inside Out \nAuthor\, Spiritual Teacher\, and Politician Marianne Williamson once wrote\, “What stands before us is either the fall of Rome or the birth of a new world. Each of us in our own way helps determine which one it will be”. This sentiment remains a clarion call to spiritually minded action. We are being asked to hold the paradoxes of our world\, allowing the friction\, so that a new dawn may be forged. These paradoxes are both internal and what is mirrored throughout our world. The challenge is that we must first be grounded and heart centered in order to see the Light through the Darkness. We must be open to see through the polarization\, distilling the duality at the core of the conflicts. With these awarenesses we may enlighten\, and find a path to unity. \nJoin Spiritual Consultant Kristin Bredimus throughout 2025 on a journey of escavation and insights. We will gather as a community to explore the paradoxes of the moment\, reflecting on the tensions while finding ways to manage the conflicts within our own psyche. We will explore our own Light (our hopes\, dreams\, faith\, humanity) and our own Darkness (our fears\, judgements\, righteousness); curious about what emerges as we mindfully hold all that we are. Together we will alchemize our wounds and Shadow aspects. Together we will amplify our Light\, illuminating pathways to unity. \nOverview: Each session we will work with the themes of the season to explore the Light and Darkness within our personal lives and the world at large. We will learn how to become masterful in alchemizing and transmuting that which no longer serves us. Through personal story telling\, ritual and meditation\, we will learn how let go of what no longer serves us and let in what serves our highest good. \nAttendees are invited to prepare for each session by sitting with each of the following questions\, in relationship to the session theme: \n  \nVernal equinox: Thursday\, March 20\, 2025 \nEndings and Beginnings \n\nIn what ways have you undergone an ending in your recent experience?\nWhat endings are you observing in the world at large?\nWhere is the opportunity for a new beginning in your life?\nWhere in the world do you witness a positive beginning?\n\nAbout Kristin Bredimus\nKristin is a Certified Spiritual Counsellor\, Certified Angelic Consultant\, and Crystal Master. She was trained in London\, England at the College of Psychic Studies\, the School of Healing & Intuition\, and through Penny King Crystals\, authorized by Philip Permutt\, “The Crystal Healer.” Her spiritual teachers and mentors include author and crystal expert Judy Hall\, author\, and founder of the School of Intuition & Healing; Sue Allen; and author and Hermetic Reiki Master\, Damien Echols. SUMMARY:Alnoba Art Tours with Joseph Gray
DESCRIPTION:All proceeds donated to support Kensington’s Sawyer Park.\nWalk roughly three hours long over wooded trails and some uneven terrain. \nAbout The Event\nJoin NH sculptor Joseph Gray to walk Alnoba’s forested trails and hear directly from the artist about the inspiration behind his work. Ask questions\, share your thoughts\, and get inspired!\nGray has been working with stone for four decades and has more pieces in Alnoba’s extensive outdoors art collection than any other artist. His unique\, spiritually-inspired sculptures can be found nestled across our campus. \nYour tour will include both Gray’s work and his unique insights into other pieces by internationally renowned artists in the Alnoba collection. \nGray creates his pieces using the ancient\, hands-on technique of hammer and chisel. “There are thousands of chips of stone lying around my sculpture\,” he says. “I have taken an eight ton block of granite and turned it into a small girl walking out of fire in a Holocaust tribute. To most people that would seem impossible. I do not think that way.” \nAs part Abenaki\, Gray believes his Native American background plays a key role in his art. “It connects me with the earth and nature… When I am carving an ancestor or spirit animal\, I do not know what I am carving when I start. I can feel my ancestors guiding me. It is a spiritual experience for me and I lose myself in every sculpture.” \nNotes and Guidelines\n• Meet Gray in the parking lot before the tour start time. The tour will leave promptly\, so arrive in plenty of time.
Guests who arrive after the group has departed will not be able to join the tour.\n• Guests must stay with the guide at all times.\n• Please dress appropriately for exploring the outdoors. SUMMARY:Speaker Series: Carl Austin Hyatt\, American Photographer
DESCRIPTION:About the event\nThursday\, April 17th\, 2025 from 5PM to 7PM. Doors open at 4PM for time to explore Alnoba’s grounds and art. \nCarl Austin Hyatt: “Invisible Realities: Culture\, Consciousness\, and the Soul of the World” \nIn this wide ranging talk\, Hyatt will share his artistic and philosophical insights into how culture\, consciousness\, and our collective beliefs shape the unseen dimensions of reality. With his extensive background in both photography and the shamanic traditions of the Peruvian Andes\, Hyatt will explore the subtle relationship between the world as it appears to us and the intangible forces that touch our lives and influence human perception and identity. \nWith the support of his photographic work\, Hyatt will discuss: \n\nHow our cultural stories shape our worldviews and even what we think is possible. Every culture opens some doors\, and closes others.\nThe role of consciousness in interpreting and interacting with the seen and unseen dimensions of life. What happens when we have an experience outside of our culture’s accepted description of ‘reality’ ?\nThe concept of a “soul of the world”—a shared\, unseen force that unites humanity and the living environments we inhabit.\n\nHyatt’s approach merges visual art\, storytelling and philosophical reflection offering an opportunity to see more deeply into the processes that shape our intimate experience of self\, culture\, and existence. This talk promises to be a stimulating exploration of how human beings from different cultures come to know their world. \nCarl Austin Hyatt is a celebrated American photographer. His artistic career\, spanning over five decades\, has produced a body of work that expresses the intersection of nature\, culture\, and spirituality. His stunning\, original prints are characterized by the luminous tonality of his black and white images. His photographs are held in the permanent collections of prestigious public and private collections around the world\, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian\, the Boston Museum of Fine Art\, the Addison Gallery of American Art\, and the Currier Museum of Art. Hyatt is a 1997 MacDowell Colony fellow and is currently a member of the National Parks Arts Foundation Board. His work has earned numerous grants and accolades\, including the Piscataqua Region Artist Advancement Grant. \nBeyond his photographic art\, Hyatt is a passionate spiritual seeker and cultural bridge-builder. His deep commitment to the wisdom of indigenous traditions has led him to spend more than 20 years facilitating transformative shamanic workshops and corporate retreats\, offering participants a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of ancient shamanic knowledge and modern-day transformational journeys of healing. An eloquent writer\, Hyatt has authored thought-provoking essays on the shamanic traditions of the Peruvian Andes where he has been traveling for twenty five years. These writings express the depth of his passion for the Peruvian traditions and connect him with a wider audience interested in art\, spiritual practice and cross-cultural wisdom traditions. \nEvent Guidelines:\n• Put 24 Cottage Rd. Kensington\, NH into your GPS – Follow the driveway to the Parking Lot \n• No dogs are permitted on the property. \nRefund and weather policy \nTickets are non-refundable.
Artistic talent or knowledge is not necessary\, and this exercise is useful and available to anyone! \nAbout The Event \nWe are awakening to the realization that what we bring to our world is how we create our world. With this awareness comes an accountability to our own inner being and the knowledge that nothing can happen in our external world without it first happening at a level of consciousness. \nEvery human being faces challenges that create uncomfortable or painful emotions. In this class I will walk you through a simple\, useful\, creative exercise using paint and canvas to bring you guidance that will remedy or transmute an emotion\, thought\, or belief that is creating disharmony\, strife\, or conflict with your inner world. This is sometimes referred to as shadow work\, however you might also refer to this as your triggers\, habits\, or patterns of behavior. These aspects of self impact how we operate in our daily lives\, often not in alignment to our True selves. This can be in our awareness\, but often this happens subconsciously; an analogy would be\, it is like letting a passenger take the wheel while driving your car. \nThrough this exercise you will learn how to acknowledge these aspects of self in the non-judging\, non-shaming way\, and embrace them with compassion and understanding that will align you to an expanded level of consciousness that not only has the power to heal and transform you as an individual but will also benefit all of humanity. By creating peace in our inner world\, we bring peace to the world by our presence and being. \nEvent Schedule: \n\nClearing our Energetic Fields and Creating Our Safe Sacred Space\nBrief introduction with my story and my intentions\nAbout the class; why paint and canvas\, definitions of art and creativity\, emotions\, examples of how shadows\, triggers\, or patterns of behavior present\, definition of alchemy\n\n  \nThe Exercise: \n\nSetting your intention\nBrief meditation to open the heart space\nPainting the discord or disharmony\nIlluminating the discord; shining light on the darkness\nPainting the transformation\, alchemy\nSharing – Allowing time and space for all who want to share their experiences\n\n  \nRefund and Weather Policy \nTickets are non-refundable. Please note that all events at Alnoba are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather you will receive an email notification. If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled\, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled. \nBUY TICKETS\n  \n\nAbout Kathleen Ford:\nSince I was a child I had the ability to see colors and images around others in my presence and in my thoughts. I inherently knew information for or about others through the colors and images that surrounded them. I do not remember when or how I realized that this was not how everyone around me was operating. I do not remember a particular conversation or event that made this so\, but from an early age I knew this was something I needed to keep to myself. I grew up in the 1950’s and I believe the consciousness available in the common field at that time contributed to the feelings of shame\, fear\, and separateness that became a way of life for me. I grew up in a large Irish Catholic family that held no limit of drama and chaos from which I withdrew to a quiet space with my friends; Roberta and Sheila. Although Roberta and Sheila were very real to me\, and again I do not know how\, when\, or why\, but I knew not to speak of them to others. Their presence in my life brought me both comfort and anguish…another way that I was different\, and as time went on I held a belief that I did not belong here. \nI tell you this because it sets the stage for the trajectory of my life experiences. I spent most of my life denying who I was and trying to be like everyone else. I believed if I could make the external world look like I was taught it should be\, that I would be alright. I did what I was supposed to do\, I got married\, I had children I got my BSN and became a Registered Nurse. When that did not work\, I got my MBA and became a Healthcare Executive. The experiences went on and on and eventually I became disillusioned with the belief that anything could make me feel like I belonged here. \nMy disillusionment grew into despair\, and I began to ask for and search for help. Over forty years ago I had been introduced to a spiritual path through a 12 step program\, and although at the time I held no belief that this would do anything that would help me\, the seed was planted. Over time I became involved with other spiritual teachings\, all of which contributed to my healing. \n\n\n\nFrom Mindfulness teachings with Jon Kabat Zin\, to A Course in Miracles\, a long list of Spiritual Teachers\, I became a student of the Violet Flame\, and much more. About eight years ago I was introduced to a Spiritual Mentor and Healer\, Kristin Bredimus\, who through pure love and compassion has shown me how to step into my True Self and be seen. About five years ago I became a student of the Energies of Melchizedek and I continue to grow\, heal\, and expand my awareness of the unseen. \nEveryday I experience real joy and real purpose. I humbly share my gifts with the world as part of the whole giving permission to others to do the same\, for the benefit of all. \n\n\n\nCredentials: \n\nIntuitive Artist\, Channel\, Psychic Medium\, Energy Reader\nCertified Health and Life Coach\, Certified Mindfulness Practitioner BSN\, RN\, MBA\, Certified Health Care Management

SUMMARY:Holding the Paradox: Summer Solstice
DESCRIPTION:*Located at our 1848 Barn – 199 South Rd. Kensington\, NH\nFriday\, June 20th from 5pm-8pm\nDoors open at 4pm to explore grounds.\n“Holding the Paradox: Alchemizing Ourselves and the World from the Inside Out” \nAuthor\, Spiritual Teacher\, and Politician Marianne Williamson once wrote\, “What stands before us is either the fall of Rome or the birth of a new world. \nAttendees are invited to prepare for each session by sitting with each of the following questions\, in relationship to the session theme: \nSummer solstice: Friday\, June 20\, 2025 \nAbundance and Scarcity \n(Answer in a stream of consciousness…) \n\nName all that is abundant in your life.\nSeek to find what exists in abundance in the world.\nName the scarcity in your life.\nObserve the scarcity in the world.\n\nAbout Kristin Bredimus\nKristin is a Certified Spiritual Counsellor\, Certified Angelic Consultant\, and Crystal Master.
