DESCRIPTION:Tickets $25 per person. All proceeds donated to Sawyer Park. Length two hours. \nAndy Goldsworthy is a sculptor\, photographer and environmentalist who produces site-specific sculptures and land art in natural and urban settings. The materials used in Andy Goldsworthy’s art includes mud\, pinecones\, snow\, stone\, leaves\, twigs and water. \nOn this tour\, you’ll explore three Goldsworthy pieces – including one that is part of a private collection and rarely available for public viewing. \n\nWatershed Boulder\, a monumental installation that evolves with the rain\, ice and snow\nBoulder House\, constructed in-situ around an enormous glacial boulder\nPassage\, a powerful and experiential piece featured in the Andy Goldsworthy documentary Leaning Into The Wind\n\nAll proceeds from this event are donated to support Kensington’s Sawyer Park\, a 35-acre public community park that provides a safe and beautiful place for families from across the region to gather outside. \nGuided tour details \n\nDifficulty Level: Involving roughly 2 mile walk up and down hills and along narrow trails over uneven ground. Walk may take up to two hours.\nRecommended for ages 10 and up.\nMeet your tour guide in the Alnoba parking lot at the tour start time. Tours leave promptly – please arrive in plenty of time. Guests who arrive after the tour has departed will be asked to leave the property.\nNo dogs allowed.\nBuildings are closed. A portable restroom is available in the parking lot.\nHiking shoes and casual attire recommended. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.\n\nRefund and weather policy \nTickets are non-refundable. Please note that all events at Alnoba are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather you will receive an email notification. If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled\, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled. \nYour ticket purchase supports getting kids outside \nAll proceeds from these events go to support Kensington’s Sawyer Park. This public park is 30+ acres of safe\, beautifully-maintained space where families from across the Seacoast gather to meet\, play and enjoy the outdoors. DESCRIPTION:Book tickets to take a self-guided walk through Alnoba’s trails\, forests\, fields and art on Wednesdays\, Thursdays\, and Fridays\, between 9 AM and 1 PM until November 18th. \nChoose pieces from our renowned sculpture collection you’d most like to view\, like Patrick Dougherty’s brand-new The Jealous Wall\, Andy Goldsworthy’s Five Ten or the two additional bronzes by Apache sculptor Alan Houser installed at Alnoba this year. Stroll through our Big Top Field\, visit our Japanese Teahouse\, or soak up the stillness of Reflection Pond. \nMaps of the property will be available\, and can be found in a box by the small garage at the entrance of the parking lot. To help plan your walk in advance\, view an online copy here. \nWe encourage you to complete this experience with a stop by our restaurant and store\, The Farm at Eastman’s Corner\, located just down the road at the corner of Routes 150 & 107 in Kensington\, for a farm-to-table breakfast\, great lunch specials\, or hot coffee before or after their walk. \nEvent Guidelines: \n\nEnter at 24 Cottage Road and park in the main Alnoba lot. Place your tickets on your dashboard.\nPlease stay on the marked trails. Help us respect our neighbors by not crossing gates\, stone walls and other boundary markers.\nOur Explore Alnoba hours start at 9 end at 1:00 PM.
