Outdoor & Unplugged: Spring Peepers
April 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Spring is waking up! Join our naturalist, Rose, on this adventure through Alnoba’s woods. You’ll learn about the tiny amphibians who produce the croaks and peeps that tell us spring has finally sprung in New Hampshire. We’ll talk about salamander migration and look for frogs and tadpoles. Make sure to bring your waterproof boots – we’ll be using our water viewers to get a closer look at the life in Alnoba’s ponds.
Please bring your own water bottle. A healthy snack will be provided.
Notes: Please plan on walking with the group at a gentle pace for two hours through woods and meadows. Bring appropriate footwear. We adventure out in rain, snow or shine because walking in the woods is magical no matter the weather! Guests should meet Rose in the Alnoba parking lot.
