Dance and modern art converge as Ballet Misha performs amid Alnoba’s outdoor sculpture collection.
Join us for an extraordinary evening at Alnoba when the dancers of Ballet Misha perform in, on and around pieces from our renowned outdoor sculpture collection.
You’ll enjoy a self-guided tour of the Alnoba grounds as you encounter professional dancers interacting with the red lobster rope folds of Orly Genger’s Going, Going, Gone, the playful angles of Beezy Bailey’s 1000 Year Dance Cure, or the geometric elegance of Dewitt Godfrey’s Up and Away – and more.
Soak up the beauty of Alnoba’s landscape and experience our art collection in a unique and exciting way in this first-ever Alnoba event.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
- The event will take place in two sessions, 5:30PM -6:30PM and 7:00PM-8:00PM. Please arrive promptly for your session and depart at your scheduled time to make way for the next group.
- This outdoor event will be held rain or shine. Dress for the weather. Bug spray is recommended.
- The Alnoba building will be closed. A portable restroom is available in the parking lot.
- Tickets are non-refundable.

Ballet Misha is a nonprofit professional performing dance company founded by Amy Fortier in 2008 to bring quality dance training and performance opportunities to the greater Manchester area. They have performed at the Canterbury Shaker Village, the Currier Museum of Art, and the Palace Theater. They have received acclaim for their annual production of The Nutcracker.
