Alnoba Art Tours: Andy Goldsworthy
August 6 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Alnoba is home to two pieces by renowned British artist Andy Goldsworthy, known for work that is both from and of the landscape in which it sits.
Goldsworthy’s pieces are built to change – to evolve with the seasons, to grow and decay with time. They are constructed out of the elements themselves: rocks, water, ice, leaves. It’s an approach that aligns with the philosophy of the collection at Alnoba, where art is inextricably linked to the natural landscape in which it is situated.
During this special tour, you will visit both Watershed Boulder and the more remote Boulder House. You will learn about Goldsworthy and his unique energy and philosophy while you walk through the stunning landscape of the Alnoba fields and forests.
